Five Minute Flatbread

  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil


  1. Place flour, salt and baking powder in food processor. Slowly add water and oil and process until dough comes together. The dough should be slightly sticky and elastic.
  2. Dust your work surface and hands with flour then place the dough out onto your work surface. Knead the dough until it is smooth, this should only take approximately 1 minute.
  3. Divide mixture into 8. Take each ball of dough and flatten slightly. With a rolling pin dusted in flour roll each piece until it is roughly 12 cm (5in) round. They don’t have to be perfect, they look more rustic if they are not completely round.
  4. Heat a griddle or BBQ on high heat. Place each flat bread on griddle and cook for 1-2 min each side.
  5. Great served when still warm!
