Soothing Lemon, Honey and Ginger Drink

Ingredients

  • 1 slice of lemon
  • 1 tsp honey preferably manuka
  • 1 slice ginger
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

  1. Boil the kettle. While you are waiting for the kettle, slice the lemon and ginger. Place the slices of lemon and ginger in a mug with a teaspoon of honey.
  2. Poor over boiling water and stir.
  3. Now wrap up in your favourite pyjamas, big woolly socks and a snuggly blanket on the couch with your mug.
  4. While you are waiting for the drink to be cool enough to sip, hold the mug up to your face and breath in all the warm steam - this will help clear and sooth your blocked nose and chest. Ahhhh!
